A well-established fashion retail group with multiple well-loved local brands is looking for a Visual Merchandiser to lead nationwide VM strategy and execution. The company is known for its trend-forward designs, strong retail presence, and dynamic creative environment.
Role Overview:
As Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the visual identity of multiple fashion brands across retail stores nationwide. You will lead the development of seasonal displays, brand campaigns, and in-store visual storytelling to elevate the customer experience and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that reflect each brand's identity and support sales targets.
- Oversee window displays, in-store layouts, product presentation, mannequin styling, and promotional setups.
- Work closely with brand, marketing, merchandising, and retail operations teams to synchronize VM efforts with product launches and campaigns.
- Visit stores regularly to audit execution and coach in-store visual merchandisers.
- Analyze fashion trends and competitor activities to keep visual strategies relevant and innovative.
- Manage a team of VM specialists; guide training, performance evaluation, and alignment with brand standards.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for production, logistics, and installation of VM materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Design, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or any related course.
- At least 3 years of visual merchandising experience in the fashion retail industry, including 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of store layout, design principles, customer behavior, and brand expression.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar design tools.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willing to travel for store rollouts and nationwide implementations.
