PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Responsible for creating an engaging and visually appealing shopping experience that attracts customers, drives sales, and enhances brand identity. This role focuses on strategic store layout, eye-catching displays, promotional graphics, and community engagement to optimize the store’s presentation both online and offline. The position coordinates with the marketing department, administrators and employees for mutual concern.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Store Layout & Product Arrangement
- Strategically arrange store layout based on hardware categories for optimal customer flow.
- Ensure products are displayed according to seasonality, sales trends, and promotional campaigns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, displays, and aisles.
- Update signage, labels, and product placements regularly.
2. Visual Displays & Customer Engagement
- Design eye-catching in-store displays to attract customers and boost sales.
- Implement creative themes and seasonal setups to enhance the shopping experience.
- Use lighting, color schemes, and props to make displays stand out.
- Monitor and refresh displays periodically based on sales performance.
3. Graphics for Online Promotions
- Design digital marketing materials, including banners, posters, and social media graphics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align in-store promotions with online campaigns.
- Ensure branding consistency across all digital and physical materials.
4. Print & Store Collaterals
- Design and print promotional materials such as posters, flyers, price tags, and brochures.
- Ensure in-store signage is clear, informative, and aligned with branding guidelines.
- Coordinate with printing vendors for high-quality output.
5. In-Store Events
- Plan and execute engaging in-store events such as product demos, DIY workshops, and seasonal promotions.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and store staff to ensure smooth event operations.
- Promote events through in-store posters, social media, and local marketing channels.
6. Community Collaboration & Partnerships
- Identify and establish partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and community groups.
- Organize joint promotions or sponsorships to enhance brand visibility.
- Engage with local trade shows, fairs, or community projects to showcase the store’s products.
7. Others
- Assist with marketing events, including product launches, trade shows, and exhibitions, ensuring brand consistency and successful engagement. Support internal company events by assisting with planning, coordination, and promotional materials.
- Performs other related tasks and duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate with a major in graphic arts, commercial arts, architecture or a closely related art field
- With proficient knowledge and at least 2 (two) years of experience in visual merchandising and graphic preparation of art designs
- With knowledge and skills in all software of graphic design principles, video and photography, color separation, printing procedures
- With effective and proficient verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and proposals
- Demonstrate personal attributes to confidentiality, standard of conduct, respect, flexibility, sensitivity, and other related work ethic
