- Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
- Verifying that deliveries match purchase orders and checking for damaged goods.
- Unloading items from trucks and other vehicles.
- Organizing and storing items in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or other methods.
- Ensuring items are stored properly for easy retrieval.
Order Fulfillment:
- Picking and preparing customer orders for shipment.
- Packing items securely for safe transport.
- Labeling packages with appropriate shipping information.
- Loading outgoing shipments onto trucks or other vehicles.
Inventory Management:
- Performing regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Identifying and reporting any discrepancies in inventory levels.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Equipment Operation:
- Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
- Ensuring equipment is in good working order and reporting any issues.
General Warehouse Duties:
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Following safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborating with other warehouse team members to meet daily goals.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
