Responsibilities
- Unloading and loading the cargo using lifting equipment.
- Ensuring the equipment is clean and tidy all the time.
- Avoiding injuries and accidents while lifting the cargo.
- Communicating with the customers regarding the delivery time.
- Delivering a variety of items from various locations.
- Managing paperwork associated with the deliveries.
- Updating inventory records from items to the customer's locations.
- Accepting payments from the customers as and when needed.
- Managing and handling the customer's complaints professionally.
- Answering all the customer's questions and concerns.
- Checking the inventory and verifying the losses if any.
- Adhering to specified routes and following time schedules.
- Following all transportation laws and having a clean driving record.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Driver, Delivery Driver, or a similar role in the Logistics department.
- A commercial driver's license will be mandatory.
- Sound knowledge and experience with warehouse inventory management procedures. Ability to follow safe driving practices.
- Ability to communicate with clients and suppliers efficiently.
- Ability to work for a long period.
- Good mathematical and analytics skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- A sharp eye for detail for accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize all the tasks and meet deadlines.
- Customer-oriented and hardworking individual.
- Outstanding problem-solver.
