Ecomm Picker:
1. Order Picking
● Accurately pick items based on the order list or pick list provided.
● Verify that the correct items, quantities, and variants (e.g., size, color) are picked for each order.
2. Quality Assurance
● Inspect items to ensure they are in good condition and free of defects before packing.
● Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
3. Stock Organization and Management
● Keep inventory well-organized and updated for easier picking.
● Assist in restocking shelves and arranging items according to their designated locations.
4. Coordination and Communication
● Collaborate with packers and other staff to ensure the smooth flow of the order fulfillment process.
● Communicate any issues encountered during picking, such as stock discrepancies or unavailability of items.
5. Assist in Inventory Audits
● Support the team in regular inventory counts and reconciliations to maintain accurate stock records.
6. Maintain Cleanliness and Safety
● Ensure that the picking area is clean, safe, and free from obstructions.
● Follow proper handling and safety procedures when dealing with fragile or hazardous items.
7. Other Tasks as Needed
● Assist in other areas of operations, such as packing or dispatch, when necessary.
● Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Warehouseman:
1. Receiving and Storing
● Receive incoming deliveries of Ecomm purchase orders.
● Properly store items in their designated locations, ensuring they are organized and accessible.
● Check for damages or discrepancies and report them to the supervisor.
2. Stock Preparation
● Monitor stock levels and notify the supervisor of low-stock or over stock items.
● Ensure that the shopping area is prepared with stocks before and after picking.
3. Dispatching
● Assist in preparing and labeling orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring readiness for drop-off or pick-up by the assigned courier.
4. General Support
● Assist in picking, packing, preparing and labelling orders for dispatch.
● Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies or misplaced items.
● Help other team members in tasks such as packing, picking and dispatching
● Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
5. Safety and Maintenance
● Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
