Job Summary:
The Welder (SMAW NC II) is responsible for performing welding tasks on carbon steel plates and pipes using Shielded Metal Arc Welding techniques. The role ensures all welding work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding procedures.
- Set up and operate SMAW welding equipment.
- Weld carbon steel plates and pipes in various positions.
- Inspect and repair welds to meet quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow occupational health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines.
Qualifications:
- TESDA-certified in SMAW NC II.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant welding experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Physically fit and able to work in various environments.
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious.
Preferred Competencies:
- Apply safety practices in the workplace.
- Use hand tools and prepare weld materials.
- Fit-up and repair welds as needed.
- Communicate effectively and work well in a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
