- Job Responsibilities:
A. Cooking Skills
1. Cook using Chinese WOK following set standards.
B. Ensures Quality Products
1. Ensures proper preparation of fresh ingredients.
2. Ensures preparation of ingredients according to specifications.
3. Follows proper procedure for receiving, handling and storing ingredients and raw materials.
4. Assists in controlling Costs of Sales.
C. Maintains Restaurant Kitchen Areas
1. Ensures kitchen areas are clean and in good condition.
2. Ensures proper cleaning and restocking of kitchen stations.
3. Ensures equipment maintenance is performed regularly and when necessary.
4. Ensures exterior maintenance is performed regularly and when necessary.
5. Assists in controlling variable expenses.
D. Ensures Quality Customer Service
1. Recognizes and deals effectively with special customer types and needs.
2. Provides feedback to Kitchen Manager on staffing needs to meet projected sales.
E. Performs Administrative Requirements
1. Monitors attendance accuracy and completes payroll reports (ex. Work Schedule).
2. Completes inventory.
3. Ensures adherence to control procedures.
4. Assist in scheduling employees.
5. Ensures accuracy in paper works.
F. Performs Other Related Duties and Functions Assigned by his/her Superior.
Job Specifications:
- Job Specifications:
· With at least three (3) years working experience as WOK Chef preferably in CHINESE Casual Dining and/ or Fine Dining Restaurant
· Knowledgeable in Forecasting, Purchasing, Inventory, Cost Control, Profit & Loss Report and People Management
· Well-versed in Excel Report
· Can work long hours
· Willing to be assigned in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay
· Available to start anytime
Highlights:
· Competitive Salary Package of 50,000 to 60,000/ month inclusive of Service Charge and Sales Incentive
· Willing to work in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay
