Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Yardi Voyager International Investment Accounting Expert to lead and support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the Yardi Voyager platform with a focus on International Investment Accounting. This role requires hands-on experience with Yardi's global accounting functionalities, including multi-currency operations, intercompany eliminations, and consolidated financial reporting. The successful candidate will also be familiar with Elevate add-on modules such as Debt Manager and Investment Manager, and serve as a critical liaison between finance, investment teams, and technical resources to ensure seamless system operation and business alignment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Yardi Voyager International Investment Accounting implementations and upgrades across global entities.
- Configure and maintain Yardi’s multi-currency setup, including FX rate tables, currency revaluation, and translation processes.
- Set up and manage intercompany eliminations, equity pick-up, and consolidated financial reporting structures.
- Administer and support Yardi Elevate modules, including Debt Manager (loan tracking, compliance, amortization schedules) and Investment Manager (investor management, waterfall calculations, capital calls/distributions).
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous testing, reconciliation, and audit of accounting transactions and consolidation logic.
- Collaborate with finance and investment teams to gather business requirements and design Yardi workflows that align with investment structures and reporting needs.
- Provide training and documentation for international users and stakeholders on Yardi processes, reporting, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and financial analytics using Yardi tools and external reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with Yardi support, and manage service tickets to resolution.
- Stay up to date on Yardi product enhancements and recommend improvements to optimize system usage.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Extensive experience with Yardi Voyager International Investment Accounting setup and support.
- Proficiency in foreign currency accounting, including FX translation, revaluation, and consolidated reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of intercompany eliminations, entity structures, and multi-entity financial rollups.
- Hands-on experience with Elevate Debt Manager and Investment Manager modules.
- Solid understanding of real estate investment structures, fund accounting, and investor reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly with financial data and system configurations.
- Ability to create custom reports using Yardi SSRS, Crystal Reports, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate across international teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and financial modeling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Yardi certifications or formal training in Investment Accounting and Elevate modules.
- Experience in global real estate investment firms or private equity structures.
- Familiarity with tax and regulatory considerations for cross-border investments.
- Experience integrating Yardi with other systems (ERP, data warehouses, investor portals).
- Fluent and clear pronunciation of English.
