We are looking for a detailed-oriented and experienced Accountant who specializing in payroll processing and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end payroll and ensure accurate and timely compliance with Philippine labor and tax laws - handling all payroll activities and government contributions with integrity and efficiency, and adherence to Philippine labor and tax laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
- Prepare and file government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and contributions
- Maintain payroll and statutory records in strict confidentiality
- Assist in year-end reports and audit requirements
- Support HR and Finance in payroll-related matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, HR or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll and statutory compliance
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine payroll laws and government remittance processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems
- High attention to details and organizational skills
- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
