Plant Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting overall financial operations. This role includes preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, reconciling accounts, and assisting in audits. The Accountant works closely with the Finance Team and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update general ledger, journal entries, and financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Handle tax computations and ensure timely filing of BIR returns and other statutory requirements.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows and disbursements.
Review and validate expense reports, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Monitor budget utilization and assist in variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and other departments for financial-related concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.
With at least 2 years of experience in general accounting or related field.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and integrity in handling financial information.
