Australian Accountant
Location: (Office-based) 3F Plaza Victoria Bldg., Sto. Domingo, Angeles City
Schedule: Aligned with Australian business hours (Morning Shift ; Monday to Friday)

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Australian Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records of Australian clients, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations. You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks including BAS preparation, tax returns, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements (IAS)
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Assist in the preparation and lodgement of individual, partnership, company, and trust tax returns
- Ensure compliance with ATO regulations and GST rules
- Process payroll in accordance with Australian legislation, including superannuation and PAYG
- Maintain accurate asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Use accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 1-2 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year handling Australian clients preferred
- Familiar with Australian tax laws, ATO guidelines, and GST compliance
- Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, and/or HandiSoft, Reckon APS is a plus
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client files
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Can start immediately
- Willing to work onsite.
