We’re seeking an experienced Accountant who has worked with MSPs or technology companies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of recurring revenue models, project-based accounting, and financial reporting in a fast-paced service-oriented environment.
✅ Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
- Handle invoicing and billing cycles for managed services and project-based work
- Maintain Service Agreements for reoccurring services.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with financial forecasting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory filings
- Collaborate with leadership to set budgets and analyze financial performance
- Maintain and improve accounting systems and workflows (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, ConnectWise, etc.)
- Assist with audits, vendor management, and client billing inquiries
- Audit Service and Project Tickets to ensure proper billing
✅ Requirements
- 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably within an MSP or technology company
- Strong understanding of SaaS or recurring revenue models
- Hands-on experience with Bill.com
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with platforms like ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a distributed team
