The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations—including AP/AR, payroll, cash flow management, financial closing, and reporting. You’ll act as a key financial advisor, monitoring budgets, collaborating with department leads, and reinforcing internal controls to support sound decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations (GL, AR, AP, payroll oversight).
- Manage month-end and year-end close and prepare financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with BIR/SEC requirements and support statutory audits.
- Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and fixed assets.
- Produce management reports, budget inputs, and variance analyses.
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
- Coordinate with other business units to translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years accounting experience; at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior accounting role (adjust based on your requirement).
- Proven experience with month-end close, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, etc.).
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and integrity.
- Clear communication skills — able to present financial data to non-finance managers.
