Duties and Responsibilities:
Tax Preparation and Filing:
- Prepare and file all national and local tax returns for the firm, including income tax, business tax, and payroll tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with all Philippine tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of tax payments and filings.
Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, withholding taxes and other deductions, and issuing paychecks.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws.
General Accounting:
- Maintain the firm's general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Track and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Other Duties:
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting and tax laws in the Philippines.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related course.
- At least 1 year experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with tax preparation and filing in the Philippines.
- Proficiency in payroll processing and relevant Philippine labor laws.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
