- Supervise bookkeeping and ensure proper recording of financial transactions
- Review liquidation reports and month-end adjusting entries
- Monitor expense accounts and prepare monthly accruals
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and external standards
- Review and approve disbursements and supplier payments
- Oversee the preparation and submission of BIR Forms (e.g., 2307)
- Maintain accuracy of Input VAT records and support quarterly tax filings
- Supervise monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Review reconciliation of government payables and vendor balances
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, and variance analysis
- Coordinate year-end audits and handle auditor queries
- Prepare audited financial statements with complete disclosures
- Submit compliance reports to BIR, SEC, PEZA, and other agencies
- Coordinate with outsourced payroll provider and ensure timely payroll execution
- Oversee processing of regular payroll, incentives, final pays, and off-cycle runs
- Ensure accurate handling of annual income tax reporting (Alphalist, 2316)
- Supervise regulatory remittances and filings (SSS, PHIC, HDMF, BIR, etc.)
- Monitor business tax payments and renewal of business permits
- Oversee property insurance policies and claims when necessary
- Supervise procurement, vendor coordination, and inventory control
- Manage general office operations, facility maintenance, and asset tracking
- Oversee event logistics, office security, and coordination with maintenance staff
- Maintain and ensure proper use of internal systems (e.g., Miura Operating System)
- Lead and mentor junior finance/admin staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform other administrative or supervisory duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, payroll, and government compliance
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
