Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Responsibilities

Invoice verification:
Receiving and collection of supplier invoices. (Analysis, validation and upload
of transaction into NetSuite; contact the vendor if there needs some revision.)

Invoice processing:
Posting of transactions into NetSuite following subsidiary specific guidelines; 
processing purchase order transactions into NetSuite following the three-way 
match, manually billing expense invoices, and entry and application of credit 
notes.

Invoice issue resolution:
Revising and resolving purchase order related issues with suppliers and project 
managers; this includes following through with the purchase order approval 
workflow and revision requests for invoices with PO discrepancies.

Mailbox management:
Management of subsidiary specific mailboxes; handling supplier and project 
manager concerns related to their transactions. Issues include payment 
concerns, vendor account reconciliation, vendor profile amendments, and 
general inquiries.

Bank data reconciliation:
Monitoring and posting of transactions related to open direct debit and check 
related transactions downloaded from subsidiary banks.

Purchase order reconciliation:
Monthly analysis of open purchase orders; coordination with project managers 
and PO creators to either match the open PO to an invoice or closing the PO

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial management or any related business course
• At least 6 months of experience in a similar role
• Previous experience of working within an accounts payable department for a multinational company
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Background in NetSuite is a plus
• Good understanding of VAT taxation rules and regulations
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, a good team spirit and are rigorous
• Good analytical ability
• Highly motivated, confident and organized individual
• Ability to operate independently
• Works well under pressure when working to tight deadlines

Work set-up and working hours:

• 10:00am - 7:00pm / 2:30pm - 11:30pm PHT Monday to Friday
