Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mid-Level Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their accounting skills and grow within a dynamic organization.
We are particularly looking for an Accounts Receivable professional or someone with strong experience in accounts receivable. The ideal candidate should have high attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and preferably around two years of experience in an accounts receivable role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and balance sheets.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial data.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams for financial audits and external reporting.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance.
Required Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong preference for accounts receivable experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
A Successful Candidate Must Have:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in accounts receivable tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient With:
- Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Experience Advantage:
- CPA certification or working towards CPA is a plus.
