Accounts Receivable Officer

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mid-Level Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their accounting skills and grow within a dynamic organization.

We are particularly looking for an Accounts Receivable professional or someone with strong experience in accounts receivable. The ideal candidate should have high attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and preferably around two years of experience in an accounts receivable role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries.
• Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and balance sheets.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial data.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams for financial audits and external reporting.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance.

Required Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong preference for accounts receivable experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

A Successful Candidate Must Have:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in accounts receivable tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient With:

• Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Experience Advantage:

• CPA certification or working towards CPA is a plus.
• Experience in [specific industry, if applicable].
