- Operate and manage the pastry section of the kitchen, working together with the other team members.
- Bake, decorate and present cakes and other baked goods in a "Nectar and Frosting" way.
- Efficiently monitor ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen is clean, well organized and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends.
- Cake Decorating is a MUST!
- May be asked to support the front line team when needed.
Requirements, Qualifications & Physical Demands:
- Runs errands, when needed, to pick up supplies and/or product.
- May work special events, as needed.
- Maintains positive Company morale and professional attitude.
- Must be able to work overtime, as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to use hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to adjust vision to both day and night lighting, and be able to focus on distant and close-range projects.
