COMMIS - PASTRY
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Under the direct supervision of the Sous Chef and is fully responsible for the preparation and cooking of the food according to established menus, recipes and procedure.
2. Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to established menus and recipes.
3. Prepares mise - en - place and check items needed for daily preparation.
4. Assist in the preparation of food requisition needed for daily production and submit the same in the storeroom.
5. Maintain the cleanliness of all operating equipment.
6. Set up pots and pans and other cooking utensils before the actual cooking preparation starts.
7. Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance (floor, walls, & work table area) of assigned section.
8. Perform other related duties and special projects that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-With at least 6 months to 1 year related experience or 1 year in the same capacity
-Food Serve Safe Cert 1-3 experience in a 4-5 hotel or restaurant
