.Job Summary:
The Operations Planner is responsible for the Demand Plan execution at the factory level. He/She must ensure that the supplier processes are in compliance to the ADI Business Processes and Protocols, Operations Performance KPIs including capacity optimization at the factory level.
Key Responsibilities:
KPI and Supplier Management : Driving supplier to meet Key Performance Indices PTS Starts, PTS Ships/SOD Hit Rate, OSL, CT
- Monitors Supplier compliance and performance on Manufacturing KPIs: Starts, OSL, Cycle Time, SOD Hit Rate, and MSF/ECN execution.
- Drives for Capacity optimization to support Demand Plan execution and POR attainment
- Drives for least Hold Lots Cycle Time by ensuring release and interims are supported systematically in a timely manner.
- Manages CCD reviews and updating through suppliers. Prepares Operations Planning reports on Daily-Weekly Load Plan, Starts and Ships per site with details for clarity.
- Oversees expedited lots to meet the required ship date and updates on a regular basis
- Does a first level review against defined targets and actual available materials/capacity . Highlights shortfalls and coordinates to all concerned support groups for shortfall analysis and action.
- Monitors top overdue backlog.
- Updates planning systems on a regular basis.
Constraints Management : Taking the lead to understand and resolve cross functionally by leveraging the Team in identifying the constraints Demand Execution
- Identifies and drives for resolution of loading constraints both internally and at supplier site
- Coordinates with Manufacturing support groups to drive actions to drive improvements and or resolve issues affecting customer delivery requirements.
- Takes site ownership by initiating and facilitating activities to address escalated and chronic issues.
- Maintains objectivity, employing different perspectives to better understand issues to deploy the right approach and resolution plan
Stakeholder Management : Keeping key people engaged through timely and comprehensive updates.
- Responds to queries in a timely manner.
- Communicates with SCM and to the supplier management team all issues that will affect demand plan execution in a clear and concise manner.
- Prepares Operations Planning reports on Daily-Weekly Load Plan, KPIs summary per site with details for clarity. Encompasses key issues, resolution plans and action plans to get support.
