- Verify patient’s eligibility and insurance coverage to ensure necessary procedures are covered by an individual’s provider for upcoming appointments.
- Calculate co-payments based on information given by insurance
- Create/Update insurance plan in system
- Update patient benefit information in the database and verify that existing information is accurate.
- Contact insurance companies to verify coverage
- Fill out documentation required for billing
- Verify patient information, billing, medical coding, and conducting claims examinations.
- May also be expected to educate the patient about their coverage.
Eligibility
- Self-motivated, committed, accountable and goal-oriented.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of basic data applications. (ex. Microsoft Office Excel )
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills;
- BPO experience at a multinational corporation is an advantage;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Willing to work in the night shift
