Key Responsibilities:
- Operate backhoe equipment to dig trenches, foundations, and other earthworks as per project plans.
- Load and move materials such as soil, gravel, and debris.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of the backhoe to ensure proper working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and site-specific procedures at all times.
- Read and interpret construction plans, grades, and elevations.
- Assist with other construction tasks as needed when equipment is not in use.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Ensure work is completed on schedule and in compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with ground workers, supervisors, and other operators for efficient site operations.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a backhoe operator or similar role in construction.
- Valid operator’s license or certification for heavy equipment (VALID NC II)
- Strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety standards.
- Physical stamina and coordination to operate machinery and work in outdoor conditions.
