What you'll be doing
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel bar, including scheduling staff, inventory management, and operational planning
- Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests receive prompt and attentive service
- Monitoring and maintaining high standards of product quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Training, mentoring, and managing a team of bartenders and bar attendants
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Collaborating with the food and beverage team to create and implement innovative cocktail and menu offerings
- Generating sales reports and contributing to the overall profitability of the bar
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
- Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, creating a menu and financial reporting
- Thorough knowledge of alcohol, cocktail recipes, and bar operations
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
