BROAD SCOPE
- Primarily responsible for leading the sales team to achieve sales target directly influencing its revenue and growth through effective management for the Sales team and strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop plans and strategies for business expansion and achieving the company’s sales goals.
- Works closely with Operations, Innovations and AP team to ensure pre-bid or bidding requirements are submitted on time.
- Manages the sales teams, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth.
- Defines optimal sales force structure and managing hiring to scale the team appropriate to market conditions and opportunities.
- Sets individual sales targets with the sales team, and tracking performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of sales personnel.
- Drive the sales team towards high performance by conducting reviews, appraisals, and offering constructive feedback.
- Collaborates with Regional Sales Group and Leaders to establish and execute a sales goal for the subsidiary.
- Manages detailed reporting of sales metrics and KPIs, adjusting sales techniques and strategies based on data analysis.
- Compile and analyze sales figures, reporting back to senior management teams.
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors in the industry.
- Attending network and promotional events to develop and maintain contacts.
- Understanding customer needs and effectively communicating how our services can satisfy these needs.
- Devising new and original strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:
- BS/MA degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain Management or any other SCL related courses.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5-10 year(s) of related 3PL selling experience, working experience in business development, contract logistics, freight forwarding field is required.
- Promotion history in renowned global companies (e.g. DHL, K+N, DVS Panalpina, DBS Schenker, CEVA, UPS, Expeditors, Flexport) will be preferred.
SKILLS:
- Proven ability to influence decision makers.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing or transportation solutions.
- Ability to effortlessly engage top management to drive win-win situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, planning and organizing skills, attention to details.
