The Billing Associate/Officer is a medical professional responsible for managing the administrative responsibilities of billing insurance and processing payments of patients. In addition, they communicate with the patients about outstanding balances, collecting on behalf of their employer or provider institution (HMO/COMPANY/NGO/PhilHealth) as necessary to ensure the patient’s procedures are paid by their third-party guarantors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Office Administration, and Financial Management or equivalent;
- Good communication skills (verbal and written), keen on details, accuracy, time-management skills, organization, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of using computers.
