Position Overview:
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and generating new sales opportunities using Apollo.io. You will utilize Apollo’s features to research prospects, build targeted lists, and initiate outreach to convert leads into sales meetings. This role is essential to creating a strong sales pipeline and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Apollo.io to identify and research potential clients, build prospect lists, and generate high-quality leads.
- Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media to engage with key decision-makers and introduce our client’s offerings.
- Qualify leads based on fit and readiness to engage with the sales team, ensuring high-quality opportunities.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, manage follow-ups, and ensure timely outreach to increase conversion rates.
- Work closely with the sales team to schedule meetings and product demos for qualified leads.
- Keep detailed records of all prospect interactions in the CRM (preferably HubSpot or Salesforce).
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation strategies and outreach efforts.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets and KPIs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new Apollo.io features to enhance outreach strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience using Apollo.io for lead generation, prospecting, and sales development.
- 1-2 years of experience in a business development, sales, or lead generation role, ideally in the tech or SaaS industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage prospects and build relationships.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and managing lead data effectively.
- Familiarity with the sales cycle and working in collaboration with sales teams to close deals.
- Knowledge of the tech, SaaS, or AI industries is a plus.
