Duties and Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers for health & beauty and fresh product categories.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to achieve the best value.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to maintain a competitive product mix.
- Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments (sales, marketing, warehouse) for forecasting and inventory planning.
- Monitor stock levels and avoid overstock or stockouts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Officer, preferably in the health & beauty or fresh products industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with good decision-making ability.
- Familiarity with product shelf life, quality standards, and industry regulations.
