About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant (CPA) to join our team at Century Properties Management, Inc. This is a full-time position based in Brgy. Hulo, Mandaluyong City. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and reporting functions for the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, and providing valuable insights to support business decision-making.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and report on key performance indicators
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business strategies and operational decisions
- Manage and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support
What we're looking for
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 2-5 years post-qualification experience, and newly licensed CPAs are also encouraged to apply,
- Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective accounting systems and internal controls
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
- Collaborative team player with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing accounting team
