We’re looking for a Collections / Debt Recovery Processor to join a team that specializes managing pre-litigation debt recovery. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for numbers, and bring strong communication skills, this role could be a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage new case intake by opening files, coordinating with management companies or boards, and preparing initial client communications.
- Respond to client and debtor inquiries, payoff requests, and review account ledgers to accurately calculate balances owed.
- Maintain timely and professional communication with homeowners, clients, and management companies via phone and email.
- Track and manage pre-litigation files with accurate notes and documentation.
- Coordinate with attorneys and internal staff to keep caseloads moving efficiently.
- Prepare and present case updates, summaries, and status reports as needed.
- Deliver excellent customer service and uphold a high standard of professionalism.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Financial/ Legal Management or any relevant courses
- Experience in Collections and/or Paralegal required (or a Paralegal Certificate preferred)
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, collections, or legal admin work i
- Strong attention to detail, excellent written/verbal communication skills, and a proactive mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with case management systems is a plus
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willing to work full time 40 hours a week following US Timezone
