Job Summary:
We are looking for a Debt Collection Specialist with strong experience in managing overdue accounts and dealing with challenging customers, specifically in the CAR LEASING industry. The ideal candidate must be assertive, confident, and skilled in handling tough conversations professionally. This role goes beyond routine follow-upsit requires someone who can actively pursue outstanding payments and resolve disputes with firmness and tact.
Key Responsibilities:
-Contact clients to follow up on overdue payments via phone, email, and other communication channels.
-Handle difficult and non-cooperative customers with confidence and professionalism.
-Negotiate repayment plans and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
-Maintain accurate records of communication and payment statuses.
Qualifications:
- Background in car rental/leasing industry is required.
- Proven experience as a Debt Collection Specialist or in a similar role involving overdue accounts.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially with uncooperative or hostile customers.
- Assertive, persistent, and results-driven attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Experience in using CRM or collection software is a plus.
