Job Summary:
At Emerge, the Content Producer plays a vital role in bringing our clients’ brand stories to life. This position is responsible for the end-to-end development of engaging, high-impact content across various formats and channels, from digital and social media to traditional and print. Rooted in creativity and driven by strategy, the Content Producer ensures that every content reflects the client’s voice, vision, and values.
This position is all about crafting compelling stories for clients across various platforms, from digital and social media to traditional print. You'll be involved in the entire content lifecycle, from initial concept to final production, ensuring every piece of content aligns with the client's brand. A key aspect of this role is the integration of AI tools to enhance your content creation process.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Editorial Production
- Conceptualize and produce compelling content across various formats (social media, video scripts, storyboards, articles, infographics, etc.) across multiple digital and traditional platforms.
- Translate brand and campaign strategies into clear, actionable creative briefs and content calendars.
- Scriptwriting, storyboarding, and writing content for multimedia production, including voiceovers, video scripts, and interactive content.
- Pitch fresh content ideas and execute approved concepts in line with the client’s brand tone, strategy, and business goals.
- Conduct interviews, research, and gather supporting materials to develop high-quality editorial and multimedia output.
- Attend events, press conferences, and content shoots as required, representing the brand and producing timely content coverage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with creatives, designers, videographers, sales, and web developers to bring content ideas to life across channels.
- Serve as the content lead in production timelines—overseeing pre-production planning, shoot logistics (if needed), and post-production edits.
- Provide creative direction and feedback to freelancers and contributors involved in content execution.
- Work directly with the Director of Marketing and Operations to ensure operational success and efficiency.
Cross-Platform & Multimedia Coordination
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to bring content ideas to life across formats—text, graphics, short-form video, interactive content, etc.
- Support the pre- and post-production process for video content, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, and editing collaboration.
- Coordinate scheduling and distribution of content in alignment with brand and campaign timelines.
Audience Engagement & Digital Fluency
- Monitor and respond to audience interactions on social media and content platforms to drive engagement and cultivate a sense of community.
- Adapt and optimize content for each platform (Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn) by leveraging current trends and best practices.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across platforms and campaigns.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Assist in tracking and analyzing performance reports for select metrics for client presentations.
- Provide input on content strategies based on metrics, competitor analysis, and audience feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or any related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of content writing or production experience required; 2+ years preferred.
- Proven experience in content production, video production, content marketing, or digital marketing.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in AI tools including ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, Adobe, Claude AI, etc
- Knows how to craft precise, effective, and iterative prompts to get the best possible output from the AI tools.
- Exceptional storytelling capabilities, augmented by AI tools for creative ideation and narrative development, to craft compelling and resonant brand stories.
- Strong critical thinking and editorial judgment to evaluate, refine, and fact-check AI-generated content, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and ethical considerations.
- Creative mindset with the ability to plan and produce engaging content, positively impacting lead generation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience handling various content formats: articles, photos, short-form videos, graphics, reels, and more.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles, headline writing, and content optimization.
- Fluency in current digital and social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and creative mindset.
- Proactive approach to staying updated with the latest advancements in AI tools and generative models, demonstrating a continuous learning mindset to integrate new technologies effectively.
Additional Requirements:
- A conducive work environment with minimal to no distractions.
- Use a reliable PC or laptop (Intel i5 or higher) or a Mac OS device with at least 8GB RAM (16GB recommended for better performance).
- A stable internet connection at home is required (Minimum: 60 Mbps download, 40 Mbps upload; preferably 100 Mbps or higher).
