Qualifications:
- Tertiary degree qualification or equivalent in business, finance, accounting or engineering with specialisation and / experience in cost control and/or cost management.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- 2+ years Project Controls experience within in the Mining, Construction or related industry.
- Proficiency in the use of JD Edwards, Microsoft Power BI, (Other planning software or ERP system would be considered).
- Detailed reporting experience, including Earned Value Analysis.
- High attention to detail and strong & proactive interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely from the operating team preferably aligned with the Perth, Western Australia time zone (GMT +8).
- Ability to review and consult with study / engineering managers, and planning team on the progress of the works, including identifying and communicating financial performance issues and trends.
- Ability to lead a small team if workloads increase.
- Ability to effectively manage self and others time, priorities and activities.
Desired skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience in working with Australian or international companies.
- Development towards additional qualifications in project management, construction engineering management or MBA
