Description
Virtual Staffing Solutions is currently looking for Customer Service Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients regarding their medical billing and payment inquiries. You will play a vital role in ensuring prompt and accurate processing of patient accounts while providing exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Confer with patients by telephone to answer inquiries regarding medical billing and payments
- Assists patients in processing payments and updating account information to ensure that medical claims will be processed and settled flawlessly
- Obtain details of complaints and disputes and ensure that this will be escalated to the accounts management for resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
- Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 6 months BPO healthcare billing experience is a must
- Has knowledge in insurance plans
- Must be able to read eligibility of benefits, denials
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills
- Computer literate, in encoding, and word-processing
