Job Purpose The Data Engineer builds and maintains data pipelines to support the gaIge and Denials AI workflow under the guidance of senior team members. This role ensures data is reliable, compliant with HIPAA, and optimized.
Duties & Responsibilities · Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to gather data requirements for gAIge and Denials AI solutions. · Implement ETL/ELT pipelines using C# .NET, PowerShell, and SQL Server tools. · Develop data models in SQL Server; write efficient SQL for querying and performance tuning. · Monitor pipeline health; assist in troubleshooting data incidents. · Follow data quality and governance standards, including HIPAA compliance for PHI handling. · Participate in code reviews and learn best practices. · Assist in automating deployment and monitoring tasks. · Document data workflows and schemas as directed.
Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field. · 1-3 years of experience with data pipelines. · Experience with SQL Server for data modeling and query optimization. · Proficiency in C# .NET and PowerShell scripting. · Basic knowledge of version control (GitHub) and CI/CD. · Familiarity with healthcare data standards and HIPAA compliance. · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
