The Mixed-Signal ESD engineering team under the Global Operations and Technology group at ADI is currently looking for a Senior Analog / Mixed-Signal Layout Engineer.
Perform physical layout for high speed I/O circuits, general I/O's, ESD structures designs in state-of-the-art sub-micron CMOS technologies using Cadence tools
Job duties will include floor planning, custom layout and verifying against design rules and schematics.
Fill, post-processing, DRC mitigation, and foundry interactions
Proficiency in scripting languages like perl, python, skill etc.
Qualifications/Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of Electronics, be self-motivated, willing to accept responsibility, and show initiative in identifying and solving challenging technical problems.
Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
Ideally have 3+ years of experience of full custom IC Layout specializing in analog/mixed-signal electronics
Experience in use of Cadence Virtuoso including proficiency in use of VXL
High proficiency in interpretation and debug of verification (LVS/DRC/ANTENNA etc.)
Expertise in standard layout practices such as layout matching, parasitic, noise, shielding, supply consideration, latch up and ESD
