Job Summary:
The Distributor Sales Specialist is responsible for managing and growing the distributor network in Bacolod and Iloilo provinces. This role ensures the achievement of sales targets, effective execution of sales programs, and strong distributor engagement. The DSS will also monitor market trends, implement trade initiatives, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive business growth in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing and executing strategic sales plans for distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution channels within the assigned area.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to develop growth strategies.
- Ensure proper execution of trade marketing initiatives and promotions at the distributor level.
Distributor Management:
- Manage distributor relationships, ensuring optimal inventory levels and efficient order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to evaluate performance, address challenges, and explore growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and promotional guidelines.
- Provide training and support to distributors’ sales teams to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.
Market Intelligence and Reporting:
- Conduct field visits to monitor product availability, merchandising, and competitive activities.
- Gather market insights and provide timely feedback to management to support decision-making.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and territory updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of the CEBU, BOHOL, DUMAGUETE markets, with established relationships with distributors and retailers.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sales reporting tools.
- Willing to travel extensively within CEBU, BOHOL, DUMAGUETE provinces.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
