Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Truck Driver to transport temperature-sensitive goods safely and efficiently. The role involves operating refrigerated (reefer) trucks or vans, ensuring that cargo remains at the correct temperature, and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition. The driver will be responsible for timely deliveries, route planning, and compliance with safety and transport regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operate reefer trucks or vans to transport perishable and temperature-sensitive goods.
Ensure that the refrigeration unit is functioning properly before and during transportation to maintain the required temperature.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck, including brakes, lights, tires, and refrigeration systems.
Monitor temperature readings and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality during transit.
Load and unload cargo safely and securely, following proper handling procedures.
Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate logs and records, including trip reports, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules, in compliance with transport regulations.
Adhere to road safety rules, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Perform basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting, reporting any mechanical issues for repair.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
License: Valid professional driver’s license code A B C / 1 2 3
Experience: At least 2 years of experience driving reefer trucks or similar commercial vehicles
