Position: Employee Relations Officer
Work Location: On-site – Batangas City
Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term | Graveyard Shift (Monday to Friday)
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Employee Relations Officer to help foster a positive, productive, and compliant workplace. You will play a key role in supporting employee satisfaction and aligning people strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Mediate concerns between employees and management to ensure fair, timely resolutions
- Conduct and document coaching sessions to motivate and guide staff
- Respond to emails and phone calls in a professional and timely manner
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and events
- Plan team-building activities to support a positive workplace culture
- Propose and execute programs that align with employee and business needs
- Assist in planning and coordinating company-wide events and assemblies
- Create strategic action plans that support engagement and HR initiatives
- Enhance systems and processes for increased HR efficiency
- Provide timely reminders and alerts to mitigate operational risks
- Assist in the creation, review, and implementation of company policies
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and government regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company records
- Prepare HR reports, schedules, and documentation
- Screen and interview candidates for internal roles
- Identify training needs and support learning initiatives
- Conduct new hire orientations and help streamline onboarding processes
- Use Google Suite for documentation, scheduling, and reporting
- Create visual HR materials and presentations using Canva or similar tools
- Maintain clear communication and collaboration across teams

- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Strategic and analytical problem-solving mindset
- High level of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Creative, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Team player with leadership potential
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive, etc.)
- Knowledge of Canva or other design tools is an advantage
- Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and compliance standards
- Experience in conducting or automating employee onboarding is a plus
