Job Description
- Responsible for the management of depot managers to ensure each location is compliant with all company activities and meets the organization KPI’s and SLA's.
- Ensuring the management of deliveries from suppliers and the despatch of goods is both timely and efficient and complies with service level agreements.
- The management of both permanent and contract staff is also part of the role of Area Operations Manager. You will also be involved in any recruitment and, when required, disciplinary action.
- You will be expected to prepare monthly reports in line with company requirements detailing how you and your teams have performed against company targets.
- You are expected to participate in budget management and budget implementation processes for the courier services business.
- Visit stores to evaluate operations, cleanliness, and efficiency of each area.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
MBA or additional certifications in operations or leadership is a plus.
At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar managerial role in the food & beverage or retail industry.
Proven track record in managing multiple store locations or branches.
Strong leadership, team development, and staff management skills.
Ability to motivate and guide store teams to meet KPIs and brand standards.
In-depth knowledge of store operations, inventory control, and quality assurance.
Familiar with POS systems, cost control, and standard operating procedures.
Commitment to excellent customer experience.
Ability to handle customer concerns and resolve operational issues effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Experience in analyzing sales reports, identifying trends, and proposing action plans.
Willingness to travel to different branches regularly.
Amenable to work on weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed.Knowledge of Macao Imperial Tea’s brand identity, menu, and customer base is an advantage.
