Finance Officer – Real Estate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Officer to manage the financial operations of our real estate business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, investment analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial health and long-term growth through accurate analysis and sound financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts for real estate projects and operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present them to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial statements and ensure accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
- Conduct investment and profitability analysis for property acquisitions, developments, and disposals.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings and audits.
- Evaluate and manage risks associated with financing and market volatility.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, investors, and other financial institutions.
- Support project teams by providing financial insights during the planning and execution of real estate transactions.
- Implement internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
- Proven 5 years’ experience as a Finance Officer, Financial Analyst, or Accountant in the real estate sector.
- Strong knowledge of real estate finance, investment metrics, and property accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of real estate laws, zoning regulations, and development procedures.
- Experience in property valuation and due diligence.
- Familiarity with REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) structures, if applicable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
