Join our team as a Bookkeeping & Payroll Coordinator, supporting a Canada-based service company with accurate financial management, payroll processing, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for a highly organized accounting professional with strong attention to detail and experience in Canadian payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions using Xero.
- Process payroll accurately and in compliance with Canadian regulations.
- Reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and maintain financial records.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with financial analysis, month-end, and year-end processes.
- Maintain proper documentation and organized filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with tax, labor, and business laws.
Main Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in accounting/bookkeeping.
- Experience with Canadian payroll.
- Proficiency in Xero or similar software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work full-time on MST hours.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Canadian compliance regulations.
- Service-based industry experience with multiple accounts.
Schedule & Rate:
- $5.50–$6.00/hour.
- Monday–Friday, MST schedule.
