Are you a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper looking for new clients? We are seeking a freelance Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations for our company. This is a crucial role for a self-starter who can work independently and has a strong understanding of core accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Manage all bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices and manage billing to ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets.
- Categorize and enter financial transactions in QuickBooks.
- Maintain an organized and efficient filing system for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a freelance Bookkeeper or Accountant.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
