Job Title: Bookkeeping VA
Expected Start date: ASAP
Rate per hour: 6AUD
Job Role Overview:
VA is required to code and prepare client accounts to BAS
Job Responsibilities
- Completing the setup of my XERO file for one of my companies
- Setting up the employee (myself) within it
- Setting up STP and Super auto payments through XERO
- Raising monthly invoices and sending to the clients
- Receipting Ezidebit and issuing receipts (the direct debits received along the way)
- Entering into our ongoing Excel file when they are paid so accounting staff can look and ensure done
- Once coded let me know so that I may do the BAS
- Completing the setup of MYOB for another company
- This company has only bank feeds at this stage and I use another software for wages (I want to bring it all into one)
- Code the entries that are all via bank statements (setting rules as we go along but checking each one with me)
- Checking debtors are entered correctly into our accounting software system (full training can be given and is quite easy)
Qualifications
- Knowledge of XERO, MYOB, and Quickbooks
- Cert 4 Bookkeeping and above, or Accounting qualification diploma and above, or Experience of 2yrs+ in Australian Bookkeeping
- Excel, Word, Office essential
- Work to deadlines
- Honest, integrity, and an understanding approach to clients. Professional at all times. Full communication with the Director to ensure each client's individual needs are being met.
