Position Summary
The Front Desk Officer is the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers, responsible for delivering a professional and welcoming experience. This role involves managing reception duties, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm, professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls promptly.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Respond to emails and handle general inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm appointments or reservations.
- Verify visitor identification and maintain a logbook when required.
- Coordinate with internal departments to assist visitors or clients.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail or packages.
- Maintain office supplies inventory related to reception.
- Provide basic administrative assistance such as photocopying, filing, and data entry.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks calmly and professionally.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Work Environment
- Typically in an office, hotel, or healthcare reception area.
- Requires sitting for extended periods and occasional light lifting of office materials.

- Medical clinic → Add patient registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling.
