Job Summary:
The General Manager / Site Lead is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational excellence of the semiconductor manufacturing site. This role oversees all site functions including production, engineering, quality, supply chain, finance, and human resources, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. The GM/Site Lead plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and a high-performance culture across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Provide strategic leadership and direction for all site operations, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and customer expectations.
. Oversee and coordinate cross-functional departments including manufacturing,engineering, quality, planning, logistics, and support functions..
. Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies..
. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
. Develop and manage site budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures to meet financial targets.
. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
. Lead talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives to build a high-performing team.
. Represent the site in corporate meetings, audits, and customer engagements.
. Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to maintain competitive advantage.
. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on site performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or related field); Master's Degree or MBA is preferred.
. Minimum 15 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles.
· Proven track record of managing large-scale operations and delivering strong business results.
· Deep understanding of semiconductor assembly, test, and packaging technologies.
· Experience in managing P&L, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.
· Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory compliance.
· Demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation and change management.
