A Bellman serves as the guest’s first in-person contact—assisting with luggage, escorting them within the property, providing directions, and ensuring a smooth arrival/departure experience.
Qualifications:
- Physical ability to lift/move luggage and stand long shifts.
- Good communication and customer service orientation.
Job Duties:
- Greet arriving and departing guests, open doors, and welcome them courteously.
- Assist with transporting and handling luggage, up to heavy items with care.
- Escort guests to their rooms and introduce room features.
- Lead guests to rooms or lobby areas in a friendly, professional manner.
- Share information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions during the escort.
- Inform and promote hotel outlets, amenities, packages, and local activities to enhance guest engagement and revenue.
- Follow property and safety policies, maintain guest confidentiality, and remain vigilant of security concerns.
- Communicate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Concierge teams; use daily logs for shift handovers and reporting issues
