POSITION: Housekeeping Special Project Attendant
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Supervisor / Housekeeping Manager
This position exists in order to:
Fully responsible to perform Special Projects and General Cleaning Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- List of tasks as follows but not limited to:
1) Bed Mattress Turning
2) Dusting of high places or hard to reach areas
3) Deep cleaning of window glass, grills and draperies
4) Deep cleaning of walls, carpets and doors
5) Deep cleaning of out of order rooms before handover to operation
6) Deep cleaning of hallway light shades and fire exit signages
7) Deep cleaning and shampooing of furniture
8) Deep cleaning of chandelier
9) Deep cleaning of AC filters
10) Plus other special projects that will be assigned from time to time by Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
Reporting
- Completes required reports in appropriate format and within set timeframes.
Internal / External Relations & Communication
- Represents the Ascott Group in a professional manner in all contexts, ensuring positive relationships are developed and maintained with all relevant external parties, including government, industry and regulatory bodies and suppliers, where applicable.
- Works with all departments to achieve levels of service quality that meet the expectations of guests and Ascott standards
- Participates in meetings and briefings for the department, supporting effective and efficient communication processes.
Human Resource Management and Leadership
- Participates in The Ascott performance appraisal process.
- Participates in relevant development/training programmes ensuring transfer of knowledge & skill into the workplace.
- Facilitates and champion the Ascott goals, behaviours and philosophies.
- Complies with all corporate and local human resource regulatory requirements.
- Ensure high standards of personal presentation & grooming.
General
- Perform any additional duties or projects as directed by the Company
- Ensure that Ascott Policies and Standards are maintained at all times, and that any corporate initiatives are implemented.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
- Work co-operatively with the corporate resources including corporate office in (cluster).
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators as set and agreed to.
Authority
- Ensure compliance and implementation of authority limits outlined in the Ascott Delegation of Authority Policy Manual.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience Required
· At least 6-12 months experience in a similar capacity in a hotel or resort.
Education Required
· Graduate of any four year course is an advantage but not required
Technical Knowledge and Skills
· Knowledge in Property Management System (Protel, Fidelio, Opera etc.) is an advantage
· Can operate office equipment
· Can interact well with others
· Knowledgeable in Crisis Management
Physical Requirements
· Physically fit
· Willing to undergo shifting schedule and work on weekends and holidays
· Should be able to constant standing, bending, lifting heavy objects

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to Php14,000.00 per month
