Position Title: HR Assistant Manager – Learning and Development (L&D)

Reports To: HR Manager
Role Summary:
The HR Assistant Manager – Learning and Development (L&D) is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating learning initiatives that align with organizational goals and employee development needs. This role ensures effective onboarding, training, performance development, and leadership programs to drive employee engagement and capability building across the company. The position also involves supporting the administration and continuous improvement of HR services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the end-to-end learning and development strategy for the organization
- Conduct training needs analysis in coordination with department heads and translate findings into actionable plans
- Design, organize, and deliver internal training programs and coordinate with external providers when needed
- Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new employees
- Monitor training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics
- Maintain training records and documentation to support compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Support performance management and succession planning efforts
- Collaborate with HR teammates to deliver efficient HR services and enhance employee experience
- Ensure alignment of L&D programs with HR policies and DOLE regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in HR, specifically in Learning and Development or Training roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledgeable in labor laws and DOLE regulations related to training and employee development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to collect and interpret data to drive decisions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the organization
