QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, or any related field
2. 3-5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a healthcare setting
3. Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and policies related to employment
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for providing support and guidance to hospital staff on human resources-related matters. This includes recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and hospital policies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Recruitment and Hiring:
* Coordinate job postings, interviews, and selection processes
* Ensure compliance with hospital recruitment policies and procedures
* Assist in conducting background checks and reference checks
2. Employee Relations:
* Provide guidance and support to employees on hospital policies and procedures
* Handle employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts
* Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement
3. Administration of Benefits:
* Administer employee benefits, including government mandated benefits, retirement plans, and leave policies
* Ensure compliance with benefits-related laws and regulations
4. Performance Management:
* Coordinate performance evaluations and feedback sessions
* Assist in developing and implementing performance improvement plans
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
* Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and hospital policies
* Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential HR-related risks
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks
5. Records Management:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
* Ensure confidentiality and security of employee data
6. Training and Development:
* Coordinate training programs and workshops for employees
* Assist in developing and implementing employee development plans
7. Special Projects:
* Participate in special projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, policy development, and process improvement projects.
